This training uses the 4 I’s of Oppression framework to give your team members a foundational underst和ing of the production of systems of oppression (e.g., racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, etc.).  The training engages with how these systems are maintained at the key level of our ideas, within social institutions, in interpersonal relationships 和 in our own selves. Participants are asked to reflect on their own ideas, relationships 和 patterns of mind 和 how these connect to larger social narratives, which perpetuate or dismantle inequities. Engaging with the 4 I’s of Oppression helps us recognize the workings of oppression 和 gives us the space to engage with the world with a fresh perspective.

This workshop introduces participants to mindfulness 和 basic lay meditation techniques, 为了… engage with power, systemic oppression 和 改变 从 时间- - - - - -的时刻 一个可持续le 和 整体 approach to social justice leadership, teaching 和 activism. 学员 将学习 to 带来困难 对话 和/or engage in activism 从 an embodied perspective, 意识到 的观点 和 感情, for a more grounded approach to engage with the most urgent issues of our times.

This training is best suited for offices/teams who work together regularly; full team participation is recommended.
